An exhibition featuring the work of contemporary African photographers: Seen through the lens of...

The work of 17 talented photographers from World Press Photo’s African Photojournalism Database has been selected for the Africa Museum’s new exhibition. Following the success of the World Press Photo exhibition in 2017 this exposition has been specially compiled for the Africa Museum.

These talented photographers from different African countries each deploy their own approach to showcase the diversity of this vast continent. Taking on a range of themes such as reconstruction, urbanisation, war, birth, and gender equality, the exhibition absorbs the viewer in the human story of both photographer and subject.
